Since they let me tag along, I was on my best behavior. Here is me sitting quietly next to Daddy while he had Tortilla Soup. The food was yummy, and we even went strolling around the famed “Orange Circle” after lunch.

I have stopped by my local cupcakery (The Perfect Circle in the Orange Circle) several times since it opened, but this weekend I was finally able to secure a Red Velvet cupcake!

It seemed a couple of days ago that my chica and I would experience another disappointing meal at Gabbi’s Mexican Kitchen in Orange, a place I have long championed but has recently acted like another Old Towne Orange battle horse, Felix’s Continental Cuisine: a super-busy restaurant past its prime.
