Tulsa Rib Company in Orange does indeed hold its own, and I might consider it the best OC option for BBQ.

The Beach Pit BBQ restaurant, which originated in Costa Mesa, will open its third location in the Orange Plaza in the middle of July.

Starting today and during the entire month of April, Johnny Rebs is having a “Name Your Price Breakfast” from 7-11am, Monday through Friday only. Basically, you order what you want and then pay what you like.

It appears the best BBQ in Irvine is in Orange…
“The best I know of in the area is Tulsa Rib Co. on Tustin Ave in Orange. It is a bit north of your immediate area, but is worth a short drive.”
